The fine print, kept short

Shipping, returns & policies

Shipping

Farm goods (hatching eggs, bulbils, root cuttings) ship from the farm in Missouri, Monday through Wednesday, so live goods never sit in a carrier depot over a weekend. Hatching eggs travel in foam shippers, pointy-end down; plant material ships in breathable packing with a heat or cold pack when the forecast calls for it.

Prints are produced to order by our print-on-demand partner and ship from the production facility nearest you, typically within 2–5 business days of the order. Sizes up to 12×16″ ship flat; larger sizes ship rolled in a tube.

Returns & guarantees

Hatching eggs: because incubation conditions are outside our control, hatch rates cannot be guaranteed. We do guarantee that eggs leave here fertile-flock fresh, clean, and intact — if a shipment arrives cracked, photograph the box and contents and email us within 48 hours for a replacement or refund of the damaged eggs.

Plants and cuttings: if your bulbils or root cuttings arrive damaged or fail to wake up within 30 days of planting per the included instructions, write to us with a photo and we'll replace them or refund you.

Prints: if a print arrives damaged or with a production flaw, email a photo within 30 days for a free reprint or a refund. Because each print is made to order, we can't accept change-of-mind returns — but we would rather fix a problem than argue about one.

Payment

Online orders are paid by card through our secure checkout. When online checkout is unavailable, the basket sends us your order by email and we reply with an invoice — no goods ship before payment clears. Missouri sales tax is collected where required.

Privacy

We collect only what an order needs: your name, shipping address, email, and the items you bought. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never touch our servers. We don't sell or share customer information with anyone except the carriers and the print partner who need it to deliver your order, and we don't run tracking or advertising cookies — the only thing this site stores in your browser is your own basket.

Terms of sale

All sales are made by Story Thyme Farms LLC, a Missouri limited liability company. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change with the seasons; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Live goods are sold for agricultural use and described honestly — plants are living things, and we stand behind them as described in the returns section above. Print artwork is © Story Thyme Farms LLC; purchase of a print does not transfer reproduction rights.
