About this collection
The tallgrass species, flowers and grasses together: pale coneflower, rattlesnake master, prairie blazing star, prairie smoke, compass plant, lead plant, and big bluestem for a start. Script italic captions carry common name and Latin binomial both.
Warm white reads like a county flora, plain and useful. Deep black sets the seed heads and flower spikes against what might as well be a storm sky. It works in a guest room, a farm office, or down a back hall.
Prairie blazing star first. Flank it with big bluestem and indian grass and the flower sits between grasses the way it does in the field.
- Matte poster, printed on demand
- Six sizes, 8x10 up to 24x36 inches
- Printed reproduction of an illustrated design - sold unframed
- Includes the three grasses that built the tallgrass prairie - big bluestem, little bluestem, and indian grass - not just the flowers.
As captioned on the prints
