About this collection

Big-water fish in the old angling-plate manner: tarpon, bonefish, permit, red drum, mahi mahi, sailfish, and blue marlin among them. Each fish is captioned in script italic with its Latin binomial.

Warm white keeps them field-guide clean; deep black sets off the silver flanks and the mahi's yellows like fish coming up out of deep water. They belong in a beach-house stairwell, a tackle room, or a coastal office.

Anglers know the flats slam: bonefish, permit, and tarpon, three prints in a row.

  • Matte poster, printed on demand
  • Six sizes, 8x10 up to 24x36 inches
  • Printed reproduction of an illustrated design - sold unframed
  • Inshore to bluewater in one set - speckled seatrout and summer flounder hang beside the marlin and the tunas.

As captioned on the prints

Morone saxatilis, Sciaenops ocellatus, Megalops atlanticus, Centropomus undecimalis, Albula vulpes, Trachinotus falcatus, Coryphaena hippurus, Acanthocybium solandri, Scomberomorus cavalla, Thunnus thynnus, Thunnus albacares, Istiophorus platypterus, Makaira nigricans, Cynoscion nebulosus, Paralichthys dentatus, Rachycentron canadum.
