About this collection

Volume two goes stranger: lithops, split rock, string of dolphins, watch chain, bishop's cap, moonstones, and old man cactus. Each is captioned in script italic with its Latin binomial.

Deep black flatters the sculptural forms - ghost plant rosettes and plump moonstones look nearly lit from within - while warm white keeps things spare and desert-bright. Try a desk wall, a bright landing, or the plant room itself.

Hang lithops and split rock side by side - two plants that spend their lives pretending to be pebbles.

  • Matte poster, printed on demand
  • Six sizes, 8x10 up to 24x36 inches
  • Printed reproduction of an illustrated design - sold unframed
  • Heavy on mimics and oddballs - plants named for dolphins, chains, stones, and bishops' caps.

As captioned on the prints

Haworthia (Zebra Plant) (Haworthiopsis attenuata), Lithops karasmontana, Curio × peregrinus, Sedum morganianum, Kalanchoe luciae, Kalanchoe tomentosa, Aeonium arboreum, Graptopetalum paraguayense, Crassula muscosa, Pachyphytum oviferum, Gasteria bicolor, Pleiospilos nelii, Euphorbia milii, Euphorbia tirucalli, Astrophytum myriostigma, Cephalocereus senilis.
