About this collection
These are branch studies caught at full bloom - japanese cherry, saucer magnolia, jacaranda, golden chain, catalpa, fringe tree, and royal poinciana among the sixteen. Every branch is titled below in script italic, binomial and all.
The warm white ground gives the blossoms air and reads spring no matter the month. On deep black the branch structure takes over, and jacaranda and golden chain hang like lit chandeliers. Good over a dining table or up a stair landing.
Saucer magnolia and japanese cherry make an easy pair. Add crape myrtle if the wall needs a third with some heat in it.
