About this collection

What the garden holds after the flowers quit: teasel, honesty, a nigella pod, an allium head, a chinese lantern, a sweetgum ball, a magnolia cone, a rose hip. Each form is named in script italic, Latin binomial included.

These are structure drawings, and deep black renders them almost like x-ray plates; warm white keeps everything quiet and bone-toned. They sit well in a bedroom, a pared-back living room, or anywhere flower prints would feel like too much.

Honesty, teasel, and allium head make a strong first trio - a disc, a spike, and a sphere.

  • Matte poster, printed on demand
  • Six sizes, 8x10 up to 24x36 inches
  • Printed reproduction of an illustrated design - sold unframed
  • All shape and no petals - the set for rooms where florals read too sweet.
