About this collection

Conifers carry this set - blue spruce, scots pine, douglas fir, red cedar, hemlock, and sequoia - with holly and mistletoe rounding it out and larch playing the odd one that drops its needles. Each tree is captioned in script italic, binomial included.

On warm white the needles and cones sit light and Scandinavian; on deep black the set turns into a winter night and the blue cast of the spruce shows best. It works in an entry hall, on a stair landing, or in a cabin bedroom.

For a mantel pair in December, holly and mistletoe; for the rest of the year, start with blue spruce.

  • Matte poster, printed on demand
  • Six sizes, 8x10 up to 24x36 inches
  • Printed reproduction of an illustrated design - sold unframed
  • Only holly and mistletoe read as December - the other fourteen hang year-round.

As captioned on the prints
